"Sunday Is No Plastic Bag Day"

Went to Emart and Ng Sian Hap, was issued no plastic. If you need it, you will have to pay for the plastic, Rm0.20 or Rm0.30. This is good, even for one day in a week, at least they are doing it they are making a difference. But i don't think we have any supermarket doing it in Brunei (correct me if i am wrong). So sometimes, when i buy one or two items, i just say no to plastic. And right now, i am helping my mum recycle any plastic material that i don't need. Instead of throwing away, why don't just recycle and be good to our mother earth.

a very good effort towards saving the earth ;) .. i think brunei should impose the same rules for no plastic day on sunday.. it can be consider as earth day :geek: .. guess NO SMOKING day should be impose as well, coz in long term smoking can detoriate health... lets brunei be as a FREE/NO SMOKING COUNTRY like simgapore NO CHEWING GUM ALLOW (correct me if im wwrong) ;) ... small things can bring out good thing in long run...yeah.. GO FOR GREENER And SAVE THE EARTH..

You know what? Why go for Sunday is No Plastic Day, when we could just get a new directive? Want a plastic bag, buy it! Start selling the reusable bags thats made out of wood threads or something. Why bother having one day as no plastic bag? Why not all 7 days a week throughout the year? That should work! :)
